Birthline’s Step Forward Program provides referrals, resources and free baby and children items.

Are you having trouble supporting your family? 


We can help get you connected with resources to assist you with your needs. With 40 years helping families in San Diego, we have the experience and compassion to help you move your life forward.

  

  • Do you need a job or job training?
  • Do you need a GED, ESL or a high school diploma?
  • Are you homeless and need a place to live?
  • Are you hungry and need free food?
  • Are you or a member of your family having any medical issues?
  • Are you not safe at home?
  • Are you feeling sad, anxious and depressed?
  • Do you have legal or immigration concerns?
  • Do you need clothing?
  • Do you feel isolated from friends, family and your community?

This program provides assistance for each family to take a step forward towards independence and self-sufficiency.  Every step forward matters. Every step forward counts. Our client advocates are trained to provide compassionate and informative assistance in a confidential setting to help you move your life forward.   


We serve pregnant women/teens and families with at least 1 young child (primarily ages 0-6, but consideration will be given for older children on a case by case basis.)

We serve pregnant women/teens and families with at least 1 young child (primarily ages 0-6, but consideration will be given for older children on a case by case basis.)


Photo ID is required to sign up and each client is able to visit once per month. If you do not have a photo ID, we can help you get that too. Click here to start the process.
